Time to Play
Narrative is such an important aspect of playtime. Each activity toy range starts with a story or a poem. This is then build out within the details of the characters. The choice of patterns, fabrics and construction all form part of this story. Attention to detail is always key, adding to it's quality and sense of discovery for baby.
Detailed design.
Designing with a process allows a range to reach its full potential. Starting with sketching and narrative building, followed by fabric sourcing and product illustration and finishing with product detailing and development. Activity toy design requires an understanding of age appropriateness, fine motor skills, problem solving, EQ and IQ, whilst retaining a design that falls within the EN71 safety standard.
